I don't know exactly what he's writing about as the text is too small to read, but...

Pendelums Swing 2 different directions, and when reading represent Time. As is common in pagan/wicca....Counter Clockwise is demanifestation, and clockwise is manifestation or coherence. In terms of time, if you were to change the past (past is also present...think mental programs) then you'd change the future, and so you'd end up possibly severely altering your present course to even destruction.

Just note mages who venture too far into the abyss and go mad and screw up their lives...etc etc. Both the idea of time and rotation/spin direction of course are the same concept as indicated by how we use analog clocks.
